Liu Xiang returns to China after surgery

Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang is wheeled out of Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, Aug 14, 2012. The star hurdler ruptured his Achilles tendon in the first round of the men's 110m hurdles at the London Olympics. He underwent surgery on Aug 9 at the Wellington Hospital in London and is expected to be away from training for at least six months. The gesso will be opened in two weeks and Liu will be able to walk and jog in two months, said Sun Haiping, Liu's coach. [Photo/CFP]
