The Yunnan provincial Party secretary, Zhang Tianxin, visited the Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone recently to learn more about development at the grassroots level and get advice from zone entrepreneurs and officials.

Zhang pointed to the need for the zone to use education as a way to carry out reforms, innovation, and transform the park into an innovative one at the highest level worldwide.

Zhang also got a look at the ASEAN logistics port, water technology park, Dihon Pharmaceutical Co, Kunming Cable (Group) Co, a government-funded residential area and a primary school in Majinpu and said that local government has always given special attention to the high-tech zone’s development and has found new changes during every visit.

Dong Baotong, Liu Wenwei and Wang Chunyan were also present during the visit.
