Selfie – "a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website" – has been named word of the year by Oxford Dictionaries editors, according to the Guardian.

With the increasing number of mobile phone users, it's been a remarkable year of taking pictures of yourself with a phone. Celebrities took them, politicians took them, as well as ordinary people. Let's take a look at how people are obsessed with taking selfies. Would you consider sharing your best selfie shot this year?
